Sezon wiosenny (przynajmniej ten kalendarzowy) rozpoczniemy sobie od pogawędki z Bobem Bagchusem - bębniarzem Asphyx. Holendrzy wystąpią w Polsce 27 marca podczas mini-festiwalu From Here To Past 2010 w towarzystwie zespołów Trauma, Pandemonium, Throneum i Centurion.

Asphyx występujący obecnie w składzie: Martin Van Drunen (śpiew), Alvin Zuur (bas) /Alvin z początkiem 2010 roku zastąpił Wannesa Gubbelsa/ , Bob Bagchus (perkusja) i Paul Baayens (gitara) wydał w 2009 roku pierwszy od dziewięciu lat studyjny album "Death…The Brutal Way", który szybko okrzyknięto mianem jednej z najlepszych płyt w gatunku, które trafiły do sprzedaży w ubiegłym roku. Biorąc pod uwagę kultowy dorobek z lat 90., doskonałe przyjęcie wspomnianego albumu, jak również wyborną formę, którą Martin Van Drunen prezentuje w Asphyx oraz swoim drugim zespole Hail Of Bullets – można się spodziewać perfekcyjnego show dla wszystkich fanów ekstremalnej muzyki.
